Publications Overview

The NRHA offers a broad spectrum of publications representing the interests of the rural health community. These publications range from general human interest topics to specific cultural or scientific subjects, and are available for sale to the general public.

From the peer-reviewed Journal of Rural Health, which for 30 years has featured some of the latest research in the rural health community, to the NRHA's highly acclaimed human interest magazine, Rural Roads, to our newsletters Rural Clinician Quarterly and NRHA e-News, the NRHA keeps you up to date with the latest Rural Health information.

In addition, the NRHA publishes a broad range of other educational titles such as the "EMS Agenda For the Future", "Hope in the Face of Challenge: Innovations in Rural health Care," "Capital Funding Options for Rural Community Health Centers," and "Rural Health Care: Cultural Competency." These publications, and more, are all available in the NRHA Bookstore.
